The Almost Church Revitalized - A conversation with Michael Durall

Michael DurallPeter Bowden hosts a coversation on the health, growth and future of Unitarian Universalism with Michael Durall, parish consultant and author The Almost Church Revitalized.

The following is the agenda as selected by Michael and Peter.

  • First, what it means to be a UU in this place and time, the meaning of membership, and why the Membership Committee is one of the most significant ministries in the church.
  • Second, issues of outreach, mission, and social justice beyond your own four walls — the keys to a healthy congregation.
  • Third, the perennial need for strong and informed leadership, what Peter Drucker often refers to as “A foul-weather job.”

All of Durall's books are available through his website and the UUA Bookstore.

This webinar will utilize both a telephone conference call and the UUA's Persony webinar website. All information needed to participate will be emailed to registered participants 24 hours before the webinar.
